The Oris TT1 is the predecessor to the Aquis. These TT1’s are great tool watches first produced around 2008 in a titanium case sporting a 4 o’clock crown and chunky titanium bracelet. This Oris TT1 Service is for a later model with the Steel Case. Oris produced these for a number of years with different colour bezel inserts and dials. The crown position also moved to three o’clock as can be seen from this watch.

The owner required a service as is was loosing time and this was getting worse as time when on. This watch being a over 10 years old, was certainly due a service. This would be its first service. These Oris watches are fitted with the Sellita sw200.1. This is modelled on the ETA 2824 and although they look the same the parts do not cross over. These Sellita are still excellent Swiss movements, the 10 plus years time period from new to service is a pretty good determining factor.
